Installation

When considering installing an air conditioner, don't just buy any air conditioner that is on sale! You may want to consider getting a second opinion, especially if your only advice comes from a sales person in an appliance store who may have a bias toward a certain brand or being saying all the right things to guarantee a sale.

We can come to your home and provide you with a quote once we have seen the size of the rooms, the height of the ceilings and considered the heat generated by being on an upper floor or the size and aspect of windows etc..  We will also check for hidden costs such as an electrical board that is at it's full allowance, or if a drip tray is required for an air conditioner installed on a balcony, or whether locating your air conditioner on a certain wall may require a condensate pump. These are the things that a salesperson will not necessarily ask you about…

Because we have a wealth of experience in repairing air conditioners we can give you sensible advice on which brand, size and capacity system will best suit your needs and we'll steer you away from making an expensive mistake.

Glean from our many years of experience and really be educated about air conditioning, preferably before you get to the installation stage.

Many repairs that we have performed for people have occurred because of a poor air conditioner installation, we frequently repair refrigerant gas leaks and then regas these systems. This typically costs some hundreds of dollars.

Because of the recent increase in prices of refrigerant gas, the last thing you want is an installation that is performed by an inexperienced person causing your system to require expensive regassing in the future. Running a system with a gas leak will also cause damage to the main motor of the air conditioner which will ultimately shorten the lifespan of your air conditioning system.

There are some manufacturers who will not honour a warranty unless you can prove that a licensed person has performed the installation. We can provide you with a compliance certificate.

As specialist refrigeration engineers, maybe we're not the cheapest installers out there, but you can be sure that we know what we're doing when we install a system for you.

Offering you excellence in our workmanship, in the long run "doing it once and doing it right" has to be more economical!
